Your child, cute, smart, competent, hyperactive or whatever, is capable of making the classic Fanouropita pie with 9 materials. It is delicious and he will want to take it for lunch, at school.
1 packet of self-rising flour
1/2 cup of honey
2 handfuls of walnuts (grated in mullet)
2 teaspoons of baking powder
2 teaspoons of cinnamon
1 sachet of blond raisins
1 cup of water
1/2 cup of oil
1 glass of orange juice
Preheat the oven at 180 °C.
In a bowl, the child mixes the first 4 ingredients (flour, honey, nuts, baking powder, cinnamon).
Then he mixes the raisins with flour. He adds them to the above materials.
In a larger bowl, he mixes water-oil-orange juice.
Then slowly he adds all 9 ingredients to the large bowl, and mixes with his hand to make the dough even.
He places it in an oiled pan and sprinkles some flour. He bakes at 180 degrees for about 1 hour.
We propose you take it out of the oven. Then he sprinkles the pie with a little more cinnamon.
Enjoy your pastry!
